Biography

Prior to joining the Department of Accounting and Finance in 2009, Anna worked at The University of Melbourne where she taught Management Accounting at both graduate and undergraduate levels. She has also held senior management positions in both the travel and superannuation industries working in both national and international companies. In addition, she has worked at Coopers and Lybrand and is a qualified CMA and CPA. Anna completed her PhD at Monash University.

Anna's research areas include: behavioural accounting, managerial learning and performance, simulated business learning effectiveness, cognitive style, balanced scorecard use & financial incentives. Her research also involves eye tracking, cognitive mapping, and simulations.  

During 2018 to Dec 2022 Anna was the Industry Engagement & Research Impact Co-ordinator for the Department of Accounting, within the Monash Business School.  She was responsible for many impact and engagement initiatives for the Department of Accounting.  Anna was also a member of the Business & Economics Faculty Research and Impact Subcommittee (FRISC) where she was involved in Faculty level research impact initiatives including the development of the Research Impact Framework and Career Guidelines.

Currently Anna is a member of the Monash Business School Behavioural Lab (MBBL) Steering Committee.
