Abstract
Web 2.0 has produced a qualitative leap in web technologies that has made the internet more creative, participative and social, offering new opportunities for pedagogical practices and language education, in particular. This narrative discusses the implementation of an interactive platform (a Wiki) to extend the learning process beyond the boundaries of the classroom, in the context of French as a foreign language. It will explore these changes with respect to learning and teaching approaches. This paper will also demonstrate how the Wiki can complement a face-to-face classroom situation and enhance learners' motivation, self-confidence and skills.
