What, Why, when And How: Australian Educators' Use of Research in Schools

Abstract

This report draws on quantitative findings from three Q Project surveys involving 1,725 Australian educators and shares insight into:
- What types of research and evidence they value;
- Why they access and use different research and evidence;
- When they use research and evidence; and
- How they access and then use research and evidence in practice.

It outlines considerations for school and system leaders in relation to increasing and improving research use in educational practice.
