South Africa, a multi-racial country divided between many worlds. Thanks to an active economic diplomacy succeeded, at the end of apartheid, to intensify its relations with Asia due to a significant increase of trade and investment with Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and India. The inclusion of South Africa in Asia goes hand in hand with the strengthening of relations with the European Union and the United States. The consolidation of financial and trade flows with the rest of Africa continues at different rates.
