Abstract

The infra-red spectra (3650-200 cm^-1) of dimethylthallium(III) chloride, nitrate, and acetate, of diethylthallium (III) bromide, of di-n-propyl- and di-n-butyl-thallium(III) chlorides, and of diphenylthallium(III) bromide have been recorded together with the partial Raman spectra of some of these compounds in the solid state. Detailed assignments of the observed spectra are presented and discussed.
