Abstract

Successfully implementing inclusive education requires educational stakeholders to consider various critical aspects. A comprehensive list of indicators could guide most systems to systematically initiate and sustain their inclusive education efforts. The key objectives of this chapter are two-fold: to equip schools with contemporary indicators to assist the planning and development of inclusive programming; and to contribute to the organic and evolving dialog around indicators of inclusive education. As the practice becomes natural and normalized, around the world, we hope that these indicators will be valuable to educational stakeholders, who are crucial to the effective creation and implementation of inclusionary programs for students with disabilities.
