Abstract

We demonstrate the development of feeding networks for use with arrays of electrically small EZ antennas for HPEM applications. We present a detailed examination of the antenna probe design for coaxial waveguide feed system, and we show how the parameters of the feeding structure can be used to tailor the coupling between the feed network and the radiating elements though numerical modeling, simple circuit analysis, and experimental verification.
