Abstract
Diffuse uptake on all phases of triple phase bone scintigraphy in chronic tophaceous gout renders it difficult to exclude concomitant osteomyelitis in an acute setting. This case presents bone scan findings in a patient with chronic tophaceous gout and a discharging heel tophus is presented with a brief literature review.
