The 2013 Summit brought together practitioners from around the world to address key issues in contemporary open and distance education. It focused on research and scholarship related to thethe central focus of ODLAA for the past 40 years—how do we meet the diverse needs of the distance learners?

The best papers from the summit were published in a Special Issue of the Distance Education Journal, Vol 34, No.2, August 2013
