Hydatids of Morgagani are very common incidental findings during laparoscopy in women of all age groups. However, torsion of these hydatids is very rarely reported in the literature. This report discusses the importance of considering torsion of hydatids of Morgagni in young adolescent girls who present with acute-onset lower abdominal pain.
