In this chapter, I foreground the narrative of a Malaysian female-to-male (FTM) transgender person which serves as a prism through which the notions of ‘power’ and ‘transformation’ are acted out upon. The power of transformation, as the title suggests, alludes to Adam’s (pseudonym) multiple coming outs: As a radical lesbian feminist (woman loving women) to female-to-male transgender person (his early transitioning realized incrementally about a decade ago through hormonal pills, reconstructive breast surgery and hysterectomy) and bisexual (in being sexually attracted to both women and men)
