Abstract
Health and wellness influencers are often criticised as dubious, unqualified sources of health education, presenting highly curated, commercialised lifestyles via social media. While these critiques are important, they present a narrow reading of digital cultures. Drawing from media and health studies we explore how students engage with social media to co-design strategies to teach students to navigate complex health information online.
