The challenges of trying to increase preventive healthcare for children in general practice: results of a feasibility study

Abstract

The study aims to test the feasibility of an evidencebased complex intervention designed to increase the proportion of children aged 3.5- 5 years (target age group) receiving HKCs. Secondary aims are to increase the proportion of eligible children having a body mass index (BMI) recorded and increase GP and Practice Nurse (PN) self-efficacy administering HKC services.
