Abstract
Research conducted through the development and staging of original creative work The Book of Revelations asks, how can innovative contemporary compositional and performance techniques be used to stage the internal emotional and perceptual states of an ordinary woman living with serious dementia or other mental illness, in an age characterised by renewed eschatological anxieties?
My role in this project was as initiator, author, artist/researcher and performer.
My status as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Theatre and Performance at Monash University is listed in the program for the event (copy attached). Other attached documentation includes the text of a critical review published in The Age 22/12/2012 and copies of material distributed as part of the associated digital storytelling campaign.
