Abstract

The Bi-National Colorectal Cancer Audit (BCCA) is a surgical audit applicable to all surgeons who perform colorectal cancer surgery. It is a surgeon driven project led by a group of surgeons who are committed to excellence in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of patients with colorectal cancer. The BCCA aims to create a large integrated dataset to be used for quality improvement and future research. Audit is a requirement for registration of surgeons in Australia and New Zealand and BCCA is a recognised audit for this purpose for RACS.
