N2 - To investigate the relationship between TGF- and TERT in
regulating tumor cell proliferation, we hypothesized that TGF-
regulation of the cell cycle progress is mediated by mechanisms
involving TGF- regulation of the downstream target gene TERT.
In the present study, we demonstrate that TGF- -induced pancreatic
tumor cell apoptosis is inhibited by TERT over-expression in
pancreatic cancer cells.
