Abstract

Treatment of either [Na(DME)₃][P₂C₃Bu₃^t] or [Yb(P₂C₃Bu₃^t)₂] with [NiBr₂(DME)₂] affords the title compound which displays η⁵--η³-"ring slippage" behaviour in solution.
