Synthesis and luminescence properties of La2-xRExSn2O7 (RE = Eu and Dy) phosphor nanoparticles

Abstract

La2-xRExSn2O7 (RE = Eu and Dy) phosphor nanoparticles were synthesized via a simple coprecipitation method for the first time. The size of the as-synthesized nanocrystalline phosphor is smaller than 100 nm. The luminescence properties of Eu3+-doped and Eu3+, Dy3+-codoped La2Sn2O7 phosphor were investigated. They had the different emission rule comparing with the former reports.
