Abstract
The reaction of either InMe3·Et2O or InMe2-Cl with a large excess of lithium hydride affords the organoindium hydride compound, [Li(tmeda)2][Me3In-H-InMe3], the X-ray crystal structure of which shows the anion to have a bent hydride bridge.
