Supporting teachers to use research well: an invitation to leaders

Abstract

References to the use of research and evidence are now commonplace throughout many professional accreditation and school improvement frameworks. What is sometimes less recognised is that using research and evidence well is a complex undertaking. This article invites leaders to consider what it means to use research well and how this can be supported in their context through the use of a new reflective assessment tool.
