Abstract
Analysis of HTTP traffic through server logs is able to provide information about student behaviour to complement survey results for Wed-based courses. A number of scripts were written to extract information from the logs, including hit counts and session counts. Different representations of summary results are shown. The captured user behaviour information is compared to student evaluation data, and the difference between the two sets of the data is discussed. Merits and limitations of this study is also discussed.
