Abstract
We investigate mode splitting in integrated standing-wave resonators formed by self-coupled silicon nanowire waveguides. By changing coupling strengths of the directional couplers and phase shifts along the connecting waveguides, rich filtering characteristics for spectral engineering are experimentally achieved and show good agreement with theory.
