Abstract

The Donor Tissue Bank of Victoria (DTBV), in Melbourne, developed Australia s only operational skin banking program in 1994. Due to high demand for provision of skin for critical incidences or disasters both in Australia and overseas, the DTBV has needed to develop strategies for increased provision of allograft skin.
