Single-IFFT real-time layered/enhanced ACO-OFDM transmitter

Abstract

Using only a single middle-out Fourier transform, we are able to generate all layers of a 16-QAM-encoded layered/enhanced ACO-OFDM transmitter. We transmit over 10-km of standard single-mode fiber without error propagation in the receiver.
