Abstract
The computational load for ASE-DMT can be reduced to that of DCO-OFDM by mapping of the inverse fast Fourier transform's (IFFTs) inputs and extraction of signals from within the IFFT. A realtime transmitter enables 9.2 Gbit/s over 20-km SSMF.
