Abstract
In this paper, a simulating study on burden distribution in bell-less top blast furnace is described. The experiment has been performed by use of a model on a scale of 1:11 to a blast furnace of 1513m**3. A regression model was established, which describes the quantitative relationship between charging method and burden distribution. The effects of rotating chute-angle, rotating speed and other operation parameters on the distribution of ore to coke ratio are discussed. Hence, it provides an important principle for choosing appropriate operation parameters in practice.
