Abstract
The problem of sending two Gaussian sources over the Gaussian multiple access channel (MAC) with bandwidth expansion is studied. In this problem, two distributed transmitters desire to describe the two Gaussian sources to a common receiver subject to desired communication quality requirements and bandwidth expansion constraint. Of our interests is the minimum power and the transmission schemes to achieve power efficiency. Achievable bounds on the minimum power are given in this work.
