Abstract

The internet initially served as a directory of searchable information. At this stage there were concerns that internet usage was associated with poor self-esteem, as the internet had a tendency to draw usera??s attention away from their responsibilities. There are indications that some individuals use information and communication technology to procrastinate and avoid work related tasks
