Abstract
In the early years of the new millenium Sciascia scholars in Australia
have turned their focus to his investigative tales, using them as a starting
point either for an analysis of the police genre in Italy or as a way of
developing a discussion of ‘Sicilianness’, justice, political impegno, themes
which can be deduced from these texts. This essay article summarizes this
critical research, produced between 2000 and 2016.
