I was the original Author and Editor of the Rural Emergency Skills Training Manual published by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). The 3rd Edition was published in 2015 and I was one of the two contributing Editors to this edition. The Manual describes the clinical approach to the comprehensive range of emergencies encountered in rural medical practice, including trauma, medical emergencies, paediatric emergencies, psychiatric emergencies, etc. The Manual is the reference for participants undertaking the Rural Emergency Skills Training (REST) course conducted by ACRRM.
