Abstract
Beneath the torrential hysteria and hyperbole of fame that surrounded them between 1963, when The Beatles first landed on the charts, and 1970 when they disbanded, there are nine lessons that educational leaders can take from their music and career that are potentially instructive. This discussion examines the music and lives of The Beatles and explores the lessons of inspiration and caution from their story, music, and cultural impact, to rethink educational leadership. Interwoven throughout these lessons is a brief overview of their career.
