Abstract

Resource-constrained project scheduling (RCPS) is often a challenging issue in practice, due to its combinatorial nature and uncertainty. This paper presents the framework of a heuristic approach to fuzzy RCPS problems using a fuzzy parallel scheduling method. This approach can handle both fuzzy and crisp numbers which commonly coexist in many realistic RCPS problems.
