Abstract

The usage of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in Australia has increased rapidly over the past decade, with reports indicating that between 62-69 of the population use at least one form of CAM, with many of these individuals having also consulted a CAM practitioner (MacLennan et al. 2006; Xue et al. 2005).
