Abstract
How can your fashion purchases save someone’s life? Women and girls in Nepal have aspirations and dreams and the right to be valued, as do females worldwide. Through Anamika’s story of abuse to reaching greater autonomy and success, like other survivors of abuse and trafficking, she offers hope and encourages girls and women to be connected. Through organizations such as her employer Higher Ground, hope is offered for girls and women to rebuild their lives. They ask only for further connections with large scale ethical fashion outlets to help more of their sisters, daughters, mothers, aunties, to help them help themselves.
