Abstract

Polymeric materials have made a significant impact on many aspects of our daily lives, and many new types of polymers are being developed. Among them is a very new family of polymers known as dendritic macromolecules (dendrimers and hyperbranched polymers), which are receiving increasing interest as the search for new, tailor-made polymeric materials with specific properties intensifies.
