Abstract
Executable Conceptual Structures are novel forms of abstractions developed to enable the representation of both the procedural and the declarative knowledge requisite for problem solving. In this paper, the author firstly discusses one form of executable conceptual structure called the Actor Graph. This paper then describes an actor invocation mechanism based on the principles of unification used by the Actor System. This paper reviews the four limitation of this invocation approach (in particular, the source actor require to know the format of the message that the target actor can understand) and demonstrates with a simple example how some of these limitations have been resolved by using the projection based invocation mechanism.
