Employers often urge universities to gear curricula toward producing well-rounded students who can transfer their analytical skills to the real world. Stephen Summerfield and Tina Overton at the University of Hull and Simon Belt at the University of Plymouth (both in the United Kingdom) describe projects that do just that.
