Abstract
Kinetics of iron ore fines reduction in a fluidized bed was primarily studied and discussed by using Kunii-Levenspiel model. The results showed that the diameters of bubbles in the fluidized bed became more larger with the increment of dense bed height, while (Kbc)b and (Kce)b decreased. (Kbc)b was bigger than (Kce)b. Reduction speed of small granularities varied little in the direction of dense bed height, and speed of larger one reduced when a special reduction degree was reached, and its speed was less than the one of small granularities.
