title = "Preferential solute and moisture transport in hillslopes",
abstract = "A simple mathematical model of preferential solute and moisture transport in hillslopes is presented. The model is based on the concept that the soil layer can be represented by a series of interconnecting pore groups in which mixing of solutes occur. Surface runoff can be handled in a similar vain. The model can be used to predict a wide variety of flow patterns by changing the initial and boundary conditions.",
