note = "Funding Information: With the support of the results from experimental investigations and numerical studies for the structural concepts and forms, large-scale structures assembled using the developed GFRP members and connections are also developed and introduced in this work. These include demonstrations for pedestrian bridge structures, space frame structures, house frame structures and modular retaining walls as examples. These examples may help illustrating the developed structural concepts and also the practices of the DfMA and modular construction methodology. This work could not be accomplished without the contributions from the Ph.D. students and research associates and visiting scholars and the collaborations with a number of colleagues in the past ten years resulting in relevant research papers for the main content of this work. The support received from the Australian Research Council including the inaugural Discovery Early Career Research Award fellowship and the Discovery and Linkage projects, as well as the support from a range of industries especially the Multiplex building innovation project and iBuild building solutions, is gratefully acknowledged. During the course of this work, support and assistance are received from a large group of colleagues and friends. Thanks should be given to Prof. Thomas Keller at Composite Construction Laboratory of {\'E}cole Polytechnique F{\'e}d{\'e}rale de Lausanne, Prof. Jo{\~a}o Ram{\^o}a Correia at the Instituto Superior T{\'e}cnico of University of Lisbon, Prof. Toby Mottram in the School of Engineering of the University of Warwick, and Prof. Lawrence Bank in the School of Architecture of Georgia Tech, for sharing their research experiences and outcomes on the developments of FRP building structures. Thanks should also go to Strongwell, Exel Composites, Holland Composites, Valeria Carullo, Foster + Partners, TOP GLASS Industries S.p.A and IUAV University of Venice, and Armourwall Group Australia for providing relevant information about FRP composites in construction introduced in this work.",
