Abstract

The study is performed on photonic design automation (PDA). PDA software meets challenges with link configuration software that transforms great theories into practical installation instructions. Results shows that PDA vendors introduce wizards to synthesize wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) designs given link specifications like transmission distance, bit rate and fiber type.
