Abstract

Drawing on an inquiry action research project, a group of teachers and scholars, who called themselves Pink TIGers, report, explore, and critique their pedagogical practices. Using a variety of qualitative methods they unpack their pedagogical practices with a focus on homophobia and heterosexism. This informative and transparent project is written in accessible language and provides concrete suggestions for how teachers, researchers, teacher educators, and educational activists might create a more socially just educational field.
