Abstract
We experimentally demonstrate a flexible method of generating wide bandwidth OFDM superchannels using a software-programmable wavelength selective switch to combine modulated pulses. We transmit 279 × 40 Gbit/s over 400 km as a proof of concept. ©2013 Optical Society of America.
