Abstract

Medical review of older drivers will be an increasingly common task for medical and other practitioners in the future. Although the relationship between office-based assessment and prediction of crash risk is not yet well understood, the evidence base is increasing. A comprehensive medical assessment with particular attention to historical and clinical features which impact on driving is essential.
