Abstract

Technological challenges have been overcome to realize the combination of MRI and PET imaging systems. The high image quality of the MR compatible BrainPET scanner has been shown and quantification of PET images with a small error is possible. Here we present our experiences with the long term quantitative stability of this system, evaluating data of daily quality control (dailyQC) and calibration measurements acquired every two weeks.
