Abstract

Despite enormous investments in programs and interventions, the poor state of perinatal health and maternal nutrition in South Asia has been a source of great concern to public health workers and policy makers. This book is a collection of invited papers from several leading global and regional authorities in the field. It provides a situational analysis of the state of maternal and child health in Pakistan, their determinants as well as possible solutions.
