Knox Personal Learning Strategy: Intent and Action

Research output: Book/ReportOther ReportResearch

Abstract

This final report considers the major influences on the implementation of the KPL strategy drawn from the range of perspectives amongst senior management, leaders of KPL implementation and staff. The intention of this report is to explicate the differing perspectives about the KPL initiative so that development activities in 2019 are responsive to the range of views, attitudes and practices apparent in the school. Importantly, across all data sets, there is clear recognition that a ‘one size fits all’ approach to fully implementing the KPL strategy is neither possible nor appropriate, but that there are a number of issues that require further consideration as the strategy continues to be developed and appropriately actioned across the school. Those issues have led to the recommendations at the end of this report which are designed to invite further school based development and to continue the KPL agenda in a positive and supportive manner.

The report comprises four major sections each of which offer different perspectives on the needs, issues and concerns of staff in working to develop the KPL strategy.
