Abstract
The thermal and fire performance of cross-linked polymeric structure systems incorporated with geopolymers was analyzed. Addition of geopolymer increased the char yield and high char yield formation prevented the production of combustible gas material and decreased thermal conductivity. Addition of geopolymers significantly reduced the heat released and increased flame retardancy. Analysis shows that the geopolymer composites had lower relaxation behavior and Tg but higher thermal stability.
