Abstract

Plain X‐rays can reveal a lot of information. X‐ray can be used to diagnose and monitor cardiac or lung disease, to differentiate between different types of medical ‘ hardware ’ (such as intravenous devices and permanent cardiac pacemakers), to assess complications of treatment and to diagnose pathology below the diaphragm.
