Abstract
Interpretations of laboratory data add objective evidence to subjective information collected from patients through interviews. Knowing why a laboratory test is performed and its clinical relevance is necessary when assessing patient conditions. Performing and interpreting physical assessments support clinical decision-making, as well as monitoring of pharmacotherapy outcomes. Physical assessments by pharmacists are especially useful during ambulatory patient consultation by advising proper use of nonprescription drugs and general independent prescribing practices.
